- Nose
- Sun-scorched grass. Pistachio nuts. Dates.
- Palate
- Flowery. Fruity. Gingery. Sappy.
- Finish
- Powerful. Spicy. Oily. Becoming dry.
- Comment
- A curious inversion. As though the whisky (rich and sweet, but without penetrating flavours) provides the background, while the sherry and wood are the highlights.

- Nose
- Fresh, young and lively. Green grapes, sour apple, crisp malt. Attractive but with a slight immaturity.
- Palate
- Softer than the nose suggests but full of the taut firmness of youth.
- Finish
- Clean. Malty.
- Comment
- Another interesting milestone in the evolution of what is obviously a fine distillery making good quality spirit.
