- Nose
- Spicy créme brûlée, perhaps with some berry fruits.
- Palate
- Brandy snaps. Rich flavours of cream. Cannoli, French style cheesecake.
- Finish
- Gingery balancing dryness. Like a biscuit base made of crushed ginger cookies.
- Comment
- Sinful. Bonus points for shamelessness.

- Nose
- Clean with light cereal and fruit notes: redcurrant, dilute raspberry cordial, sloe, mint, malt. In time becomes increasingly wine-like.
- Palate
- Sweet, tongue-coating. Hot and peppery when neat, red fruits and a sweet attack. Balanced.
- Finish
- Red fruits.
- Comment
- Initially it's fine, but ends up more port rinse than finish.
