Michael Jackson

Nose: Powerful, sweet almonds.
Palate: Buttery. Slightly sticky. Sweet, honeyed.
Finish: Spicy. Gingery.
Comment: Rather cloying.

Marcin Miller

Nose: Assertive attack of toffee, heather honey and cream giving impression of luxury to follow. More feminine when reduced; creamier and softer.
Palate: Vigorous. This whisky is making a statement. Allspice emerges.
Finish: Good length. Drying, warming and very moreish.
Comment: Extremely accomplished whisky. Isle of Arran continues to impress.
