- Nose
- Floral and fruity. Delicate touch of orange blossom. Overipe pear. Distinctive creamy nuttiness. Fresh walnut. Wood notes emerge slowly and softly.
- Palate
- More vibrant than nose announced. Fizzy. Develops on buttery notes. Plum pie.
- Finish
- Tangy, spicy, lingering. Fresh ginger. Peppery.
- Comment
- Not much connection between nose and palate. But the surprise is pleasant. A beautiful wake-up malt on rainy days.

- Nose
- Nutty. Burnt toast, llight rasin notes, cooked raspberry, almost jammy. Water releases top notes, tinned fruit salad.
- Palate
- Ripe and thick, dried fruits, raisin, light spices. Soft feel. Oak in balance.
- Finish
- Charred, almost smoky. Mushroom.
- Comment
- A well balanced 'finish'. Marsala suits it well.
