- Dusty.Rubbery.Burnt tyre.Gets better in time.Light toffee.Touch of milk chocolate.
- Palate
- Sweet and flat.The same rubbery note again,followed by the same toffee one.
- Finish
- Does not hold on the tongue.
- Comment
- Really disappointing.Where is the fresh lively sweet character of Arran ? Has it lost its sparkle ? This whisky seems alreadytired.Or is it me ?

- Softmaple syrup,maint toffee,and a slight late industrial note.
- Palate
- Chewy and pleasant mouth-feel,with soft pecan,vanilla,almond/apple pip.
- Finish
- Soft and balanced,and very pleasant.
- Comment
- Arran is getting better and better and this holds its own in the richest of company.
