Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Cedary. Vanilla. Custard. Honey. Palate Toffee. Sweetish. Cedary. Scenty. Talc-like. Finish Coconut. Indian spices. Very long indeed. Comment A very interesting whisky, but the distillery character is better served with a dash of sherry.

Dave Broom Nose A malty, intense and slightly hard nose. Water tones it down showing sweet fruit, malt and bracken. Palate Totally different to the nose. Luscious and mellow with honey, chestnut, honeysuckle and cream. Builds beautifully still, with firm wood. Finish Sugared almond. Comment A subtle expression of The Balvenie.
