Michael Jackson

Nose
Clear liquid honey. Orangey with water.
Palate
Fudge. Almonds. Honey. Orange. Minty.
Finish
Lemony. Dry. Warming. Very long.
Comment
Tasting from the cask resulted in slightly different descriptors whereas these notes were based on a sample sent to Whisky Magazine.

Jim Murray

Nose
Deep oak with hint of berry fruits and buttered crumpets. Very firm.
Palate
Clean surge of unspecified fruitness.
Finish
Hardens into a very brittle maltiness and oak.
Comment
A rather unusual Balvenie but delicious nonetheless!
