Nose
Fresh blackcurrant juice, Play-Doh, a note of freshly sawn pine and some Evostick and liquorice spice.
Palate
Spiced baked apple, lemon juice, cinnamon bark and vanilla.
Finish
Lingering notes of vanilla and spiced apple.
Comment
Some intriguing spice and fruit here, with a backbone of oak.

Nose
Very shy at first, gentle mown grass notes, plain flour, melted butter, fresh wood shavings and wool skins.
Palate
Sweet and malty, still very gentle. Raspberry meringue with maple syrup and some wood spices.
Finish
Spices suddenly explode and tannins give great grip and warmth.
Comment
Nothing gives away that finish.
