Dave Broom

Nose
More in line with TFG but with a little more weight, smokiness and a more overt spiciness as well. Some biscuity qualities and while the sultana note is there again, there's also more sherry influence, pecan pie, fruit cake and peat.
Palate
Immediately smoky and well balanced. Deep and smooth with powdered clove in the background giving a fragrance to the creamy grain and the punchy smoke.
Finish
Clean, long, smooth. Smoked paprika.
Comment
Integrated and balanced.

Rob Allanson

Nose
Similar to the the normal Famous Grouse, but with this bonfire-esque seam running through it. There is rich fruit and some bread crust cereal characters as well.
Palate
The bonfire becomes more of a peat fire. The smoke is layered with citrus fruit and vanilla custard. Everything is in balance.
Finish
Complex, creamy and smoky.
Comment
Takes the Famous Grouse to another level. Very satisfying.
