Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Cherry compote. Green walnut. Touch of tar. Tobacco leaf. Hot coffee. Sweeter aromas slowly emerge. Shortcrust pastry. Vanilla biscuit. Palate Sherry reveals heavy fruit: prunes, plums, cherries. Pleasant sourness. Spicy, tickling. Finish Very spicy. Really numbing tastebuds. Bitter chocolate aftertaste. Comment A beautiful and complex nose, palate starts right then the elegant spiciness.

Dave Broom Nose Amber in colour and fruity, almost winey nose of black fruits, Ribena, chocolate and in time resin. Water brings out wood oils, sandalwood. Palate Rich oak tones, well structured and complex. Cigar box, berry fruits, walnut. Very sweet, very deep with good tannic structure. Finish Long, sweet and savoury. Tea leaf. Comment An exotic dram with an extra dimension and complexity. Sensual.
