73- Nose
- Oaky. Rich toffee. An earthy character too. Wet pine needles. Hint of mushroom. A distant floral note. Needs time to unwind.
- Palate
- Smooth and sweet at start. But bitterness sweeps the gentle start away. As astringent as the skin of a raw quince. Water does not help.
- Finish
- Bitter and dry.
- Comment
- For those who like bitter drinks, obviously. Too much untamed wood maybe?

- Bags of rich oak here, soft toffee too. Opens up slowly to reveal forest, mossy notes and pencil shavings.
- Palate
- Starts slowly, then the oak begins to push its way through. Quite tannic.

- Oaky
- Comment
- Takes a little getting used to, but then that oak grip gets quite pleasant.
