Nose
Floral and grassy. Drying hay. Honey. Opens on heavier notes. Chestnut purée. Touch of orange marmalade. Cloved orange.
Palate
Smooth, round, thick. A bit weak. Fruit and oak are well combined. Drying at midpalate.
Finish
Dry, a bit hard. Lacks elegancy.
Comment
A decent dram but without an oomph character.

Nose
Cooked oranges and lemons, marmalade, drying grass, and light humidor notes.
Palate
Very smooth with that cooked orange note. Oak comes through slowly as do the spices.
Finish
Dries on the spices then a little bitter.
Comment
Cannot help think this needs a little more body.
