- Nose
- Similar to 15 with an added wholemeal bread note. Intensity and better integration. Good poise and richness of character.
- Palate
- Nuts galore, then a similarly slick quality that's been in the previous three. Rounded and better balance struck between crisp maltiness and sweet dark fruits.
- Finish
- Fruity!
- Comment
- This is the best of the bunch, but in general I find the construction of these
just a little too obvious.

- Nose
- Intense. Malty with an earthy note. Pine needles. A hint of resin. Opening on cooked fruit. Quite creamy and enticing. Integrated oak and fruit.
- Palate
- Oily, almost syrupy.Very soft and caressing texture. Oak speaks up more than fruit but the aromatic display is well wrapped. Water enhances spices but also bitter notes.
- Finish
- Slightly astringent. Nutty aftertaste. Fresh walnut.
- Comment
- An enjoy as it comes dram. No water please.
