Nose
Gristy and fresh aromas with plenty of lemon, grass and soft apricot. Lightly mineral with hints of white fruit and a touch of oak.
Palate
Soft and creamy with the emphasis firmly on the coffee, caramel oak. The oak has reigned in the freshness of the nose but a touch of apricot and spices appear.
Finish
Reasonable length with the citrus finally emerging from the oak grip leaving a light Sauvignon Blanc-esque grassy after-taste.
Comment
I could have done with a little less oak on the palate.

Nose
Lemon meringue pie, star fruit, vanilla and very light honey. Marshmallow gives this note some bounce.
Palate
Lemon curd, vanilla, super sweet lemonade and white grape juice.
Finish
Bitter grapefruit and coal dust. A hint of juicy white wines at the death.
Comment
A little misdirected, I couldn't get to grips with the flavours in the mix here but I can see how this might appeal.
