- Nose
- Exotic nose, all heady spices and wax polish with a hint of rubber behind, then mocha. A lightly heathery note,
box hedges, spiced pears, papaya and lightsmoke. In time, saddle soap, massage oil and scented candles.
- Palate
- Densely flavoured and old,but not overly wooded.Moves into grilled nuts. Quite light and fragile. Light
wood smoke drifts through. Elegant.
- Finish
- Exotic fruits. Lovely.
- Comment
- Great balance and complexity.

- Nose
- Perfumy .A superb mix of floral and fruity notes. So well intertwined. Heather honey, cherry plums. Creamy
toffee. Cedar. A hint of pine resin.
- Palate
- Sweet but the wood astringence quickly takes over.Develops on spices and passion fruit.
- Finish
- Lingering,framed byoak and spices.
- Comment
- From the nose to the palate,we know that we are in front of a very old whisky. The nose is superb but the
wood signature is too assertive on the palate.
