- Very aromatic; hay, grass and peat.
- Palate
- Lovely balance of sugared almonds, syrup, a hint of orange-zest, grass and peat.
- Finish
- Light, soft, warming. Deceptively long.
- Comment
- Lots of flavour development. I enjoyed this one.

- Deep sweetish sherry, just a hint of smoke and old leather; and a very healthy, rich maltiness.
- Palate
- An awesome, oily wave of sweet sherry-malt intensity. Fabulous complexity.
- Finish
- Rich chocolate notes, lightly metallic finale.
- Comment
- Astonishing for a Speysider of such antiquity. First class complexity with no over-ageing.
