Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Fruity. Sweetly flowery. Hay. Hint of peat.
Palate
Firm, lively. Sweet peaches, marshmallow, biscuity malt. Shortbread.
Finish
Spicy (cinnamon), appetising. Very long.
Comment
The Glenlivet is the fruitiest, most flowery and most delicate.

Jim Murray

Nose
Fabulously delicate. Soft vanilla, flickering malt, fruit salad with a smoke/oak combination.
Palate
Very even with a non-specific fruitness.
Finish
Light and softly oaked. Sensual spiciness.
Comment
Jim Cryle has done a wonderful job picking these casks.
