Lots of floral, tannic, oak extract. Heady. Hypnotic.
Palate
Peaches, honey, anis.
Finish
Crisp, dry oakiness.
Comment
The oak does not totally dominate, but is powerful for such an elegant malt.

Tight, fragrant nose: cinnamon, clove, apple and heather. Firmer and more malty with water.
Palate
A fairly tight structure with root ginger, heather, dry grass, dried apple. Good maturity, well balanced and a spicy, exotic overtone.
Finish
Clean, good length.
Comment
Balances sweet and savoury. Next time though make it unchillfiltered!
