Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Mature and elegant with a beautiful exotic fragrance. Light resin, date, ginger, Turkish Delight. Palate Unctuous with a slow release of flavours. Allspice and cinnamon all the way. Baked pineapple, mint. Superb balance. Finish A dusting of rose petals. Comment Magnificent, but I hate to think of the price!

Martine Nouet Nose Intense. Rich. Toffee apple, sticky toffee pudding. Oak is well integrated. Dates and figs. Palate Satin like. Oily but not cloying. Toffee, chocolate, cappuccino parfait. Outburst on spices. Minty liquorice at the back. Finish Long, drying on oaky tones. A touch of brazil nut. Comment A very satisfying afterdinner dram.
