Nose
Masses of soft fruits and maturity on show. Starts off with green mango, crystallised pineapple and banana becoming increasingly tropical as it develops. Oak in balance.
Palate
Medium weight, with good pooling of those fruits in the middle of the tongue. As it develops there's old waxed paper. Best neat as it is just showing its age a little.
Finish
Fruity but fades.
Comment
Balanced and mature with great tropical fruit character.

Nose
Perfumy. Very fruity. A mix of not totally ripe apricot and bergamot. There is an elegant balance between tartness and sweetness. In the back, a hint of chicken broth. A touch of coconut.
Palate
Dry and crisp. Raw silk texture. A slight astringency gives way to a luscious explosion of exotic fruit. Pineapple and passion fruit sprinkled with ground ginger.
Finish
Warm dry, spicy.
Comment
Obviously a Bourbon cask maturation. Fruit flavours are elegantly displayed.
