- Sweetshops. Icing sugar. Liquorice. Very delicate hint of rooty peatiness.
- Palate
- Silky-smooth. Nougat. Dried apricots. Anis.
- Finish
- A suggestion of orange. Teasing delicate, gently soothing.
- Comment
- The flavour metaphors evoke childhood, but this is a very adult, sophisticated malt.

- Charming acacia honey and demerara sugar within a floral theme of pansies and violets.
- Palate
- Initially enclosed and oaky. Pans out to allow a richer, toffee-cream and intensely malty middle.
- Finish
- Medium length, simple mixture of oak and barley.
- Comment
- A well-sculpted malt with a restrained richness and limited complexity. Lovely weight throughout.
