Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Lightly floral, with apple skin, lemon peel but with a dry, biscuity undertow. Good with water. Palate Cracked wheat, very light and is destroyed by water which splits into its constituent parts. Finish Insubstantial and quite hard. Comment A promising nose, but doesn’t deliver on the palate.

Gavin Smith Nose High, sweet, with a pleasing note of peaches. Palate Nutty and oaky. Finish Medium, oaky, drying to something quite astringent. Comment Again, an attractive nose is confounded by a lacklustre experience in the mouth.
