Nose
Fresh. Minty. Spicy. Palate
A clear, bright orange colour suggests sherry, which duly emerges. The whisky nonetheless seems thin; then intensely sweet; those green fruits again. Finish
Suddenly peppery, hot and aggressive. Comment
Very lively, but ill-tempered. I kept expecting it to propose the return of military service, or demand that I had my hair cut.

Nose
Rich, fruity. Very biscuity. Butter shortbread or warm apple crumble. A hint of peat. Some delicate forest aromas (fern, moss). Palate
Smooth, sweet and very spicy. All fruit cake aromas. Candied grapefruit. Oak tends to hold back fruity flavours. Ginger and paprika. Finish
Crisp, dry and long. Comment
More of a spicy tendency than other versions.
