Nose
Medicinal, fig-like, peaty, oaky.
Palate
Dried fruits, very dry and concentrated. Rooty, liquorice-like. Treacle-toffee. Molasses.
Finish
Liquorice-toffee. Cedar. Oak. Heavy wood.
Comment
A privilege to taste such an old whisky but I just cannot handle such woody astringency

David Robertson

Nose
Very rich dried fruits, resinous spice. Complex.
Palate
Woody. Dried fruit. Deep resinous spice. Mouth feel is viscous, syrupy and oily.
Finish
Rich wood with resinous spice.
Comment
For a 60 Years Old whisky it still displays fresh vigorous vitality.
