Nose
Initially yeasty, then wine gum. Fresh sawdust. More floral when reduced.
Palate
Dry, quite tight and one-dimensional. Some cereal notes.
Finish
Comparitively short. Raisins linger.
Comment
I'm not a fan of younger Macallans, but this is a drinkable, if somewhat undemanding, 8 Years Old.

Nose
Young, clean and lovely. Slightly sappy with touches of balsa wood, cereal (malt bins/sugar puffs), vanilla white chocolate and turned earth.
Palate
Crisp but with a super-sweet and soft mid-palate. Fizzy and young.
Finish
Quite hot, peppery and short. Malty.
Comment
Fresh and young, but balanced with good feel. Have it long.
