Extremely syrupy. Herbal. Lightly nutty.
Finish
Familiar sweet, smoky notes and emerging.
Comment
Blindfold, I am not sure I would not recognise this as a Macallan until that familiar finish.

Appley, lemons and peat smoke.

Richly phenolic with fresh lemons.
Comment
Macallan was a peaty whisky from the mid 1930's through to the late 1940s.
