82- Nose
- Toffee notes with some polished oak. A real depth here revealing ginger, spice and a little nutmeg.
- Palate
- That spice note explodes in the mouth,drying slightly on oak.
- Finish
- Long and lingering with a suggestion of smoke.
- Comment
- Yet again Macallan on form. Great interplay with oak and spice.

- Mince pies, orange fruits, nutmeg and ginger.
- Palate
- Gentle and soft,with an initial burst of peach and apricot. Clean and sweet, and then a counter-balance from late tannins and a touch of spice.
- Finish
- Nicely balanced mix of fruit,spice and oak.
- Comment
- Everything that a Macallan should be.
