Nose
Leather/chamois notes, sliced sweet potato, wet cardboard, fresh coconut, tinned fruit and blanched almonds, with a touch of marzipan sweetness.
Palate
A return of the marzipan on the palate, with sweet sponge cake, some juicy plums, nectarine and ripe vanilla.
Finish
The marzipan lingers over into the finish, coupled with a touch of drying oak.
Comment
At 19 years, this has reached a harmonious conclusion. Very good indeed.

Nose
Savoury to start, rapeseed oil, recently harvested barley fields, corn husks fresh baked biscuits, roast bell pepper and then some tropical fruits, roast pineapple, mango kulfi.
Palate
Fresh squeezed orange juice, citrus sweetness but with a bit of zip too. Then the oak spices build, gripping and finally the savouriness returns.
Finish
Oak grip and gentle spices slowly fade.
Comment
Very focused with good interplay between the spirit and wood.
