Dave Broom

Nose
Big oak notes; all resinous wood, polished furniture, oils/dubbin and then comes black cherry, dark chocolate and stewing rhubarb.
Palate
As big as the nose suggests. The oiliness comes through on the palate along with saddle soap and then the overwhelming ripe, deep, black and red fruits. Thick and chewy but with enough vanilla to add lift.
Finish
Long and generous.
Comment
Powerful, individual and bold. The power of the oak is balanced by the richness of the fruit.

Rob Allanson

Nose
Bold and big nose with cooked figs and stewed plums. A little leather and some vanilla pod too. Gets a little more sugary over time.
Palate
As full bodied as the nose. Rich fruit and more leather. Slightly aniseed with liquorice and dark chocolate. Espresso coffee and cream.
Finish
Takes its time and dried slowly.
Comment
Naked suggests things have been taken away, but no sir! This is a veritable tour de force of blending.
