- Nose
- Some peaty grassiness. Oily, creamy, maltiness. Very nutty indeed.
- Palate
- Astonishingly nutty. Sliced almonds. Ripe cherries.
- Finish
- Kirsch-like.
- Comment
- A fine malt, with great character for its relative youth. Greater ages are eagerly awaited.

- Nose
- Feinty, fat, young. Off-centre. Oily and sweet with some malty notes fighting through.
- Palate
- Immediately sweet and coats the mouth with a pleasant maltiness. A little spice towards the middle, alongside some sweet vanilla.
- Finish
- Sweet coffee and lingering oils.
- Comment
- Recovers well from disastrous nose. Never becomes complex on the palate but flavours are vivid and helped by a glossy sheen.
