70- Nose
- Nutty, leafy. Toasted. Charred oak.
- Palate
- Medicinal. Syrupy. Still some sweetness and juicy nuttiness, but quickly overwhelmed by the oak.
- Finish
- Long and warming, but some burnt astringency.
- Comment
- With water, more toffeish malt notes emerge in the middle, but the wood is very dominating.

- Sulphur/coal gas, rubber, prune, walnut, clove, Christmas cake, cold tea, fig, coffee, chicory, dark chocolate and autumn bonfires.
- Palate
- An immediate hit of bitter chocolate, dried fig then some rich, powerful dried fruit. Good texture.
- Finish
- Slightly bitter.
- Comment
- An espresso coffee going straight into the veins. Astonishing, but for sherry freaks only.
