- Pastry out of a hot oven. Slightly smoky. Fresh pears in butterscotch sauce.
- Palate
- Light to medium body. Like exploring a box of chocolates. Milk chocolate first, then dark. Chocolate limes (perhaps the odd kumquat), then mint creams.
- Finish
- Liqueur-ish. Soothing.
- Comment
- Despite the rich descriptors, I found this slightly sharp with some vintage Glenfiddichs.

- Aromatic. Hyacinth, raisin, dried apple, chocolate cake, preserved plum. Good depth and complexity.
- Palate
- Soft with a good steady flow. Chocolate ganash, orange, tobacco. Flattens a little towards the finish. Good grip.
- Finish
- Fragrant. Spiced oranges. Grand Champagne Cognac.
- Comment
- All very elegant and sophisticated.
