Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Pastry out of a hot oven. Slightly smoky. Fresh pears in butterscotch sauce. Palate Light to medium body. Like exploring a box of chocolates. Milk chocolate first, then dark. Chocolate limes (perhaps the odd kumquat), then mint creams. Finish Liqueur-ish. Soothing. Comment Despite the rich descriptors, I found this slightly sharp with some vintage Glenfiddichs.

Dave Broom Nose Aromatic. Hyacinth, raisin, dried apple, chocolate cake, preserved plum. Good depth and complexity. Palate Soft with a good steady flow. Chocolate ganash, orange, tobacco. Flattens a little towards the finish. Good grip. Finish Fragrant. Spiced oranges. Grand Champagne Cognac. Comment All very elegant and sophisticated.
