- Nose
- Fat and slightly hot when neat. Boiled sweets,oak,red liquorice,wholemeal bread. Milk chocolate,charred wood.
- Palate
- Not quite the full-on delivery you expect. Soft to start,then crisps nicely. peanut butter and lightrose. The oak is held to the back of the palate.
- Finish
- Tobacco leaf.
- Comment
- Honest and well made.

- Nutty with a distinctive oaky profile. Toasted nuts,praline. Hint of old leather. Toblerone. Opens on toffee.
- Palate
- Very smooth and intense. Oak is showing but is very well integrated. Layers of melting milk chocolate and
toasted piedmont hazelnuts.
- Finish
- Long,lingering on dried fruit with a dry spicy conclusion.
- Comment
- A rich and deep well matured whisky. Enticing,elegant and conversational.
