Nose
Smoked cheese, milk chocolate, cardamom and menthol, with a hint of raspberry jam.
Palate
Orange, smoke and dark chocolate gives this dram some balls. It is a rich offering packed with flavour and enhanced by the smoke.
Finish
Forest fire smoke and more orange creams.
Comment
Rather delicious. A good, strong peaty offering with real personality.

Nose
Intense, slightly prickly. Rich fruity aromas. Ripe peaches. Light smoke. Like walking in an orchard on a crisp morning with a bonfire in the distance. Poached pears. Gets creamy on time.
Palate
Crisp, dry with a fizzy feel. Teases the tongue. Sherbety. Orange juice. The smoke is not so perceptible on the palate. Just in the back. Water cuts down the alcohol bite and brings out creamy flavours.
Finish
Warm, fizzy, dry with a gingery spiciness.
Comment
The dram of dreicht days, after a long walk in the morning drizzle.
