Tasting Notes

Dave Broom Nose Great maturity. Nail varnish, lacquer. Velvety with some nuttiness (walnut/cashew). Glossy. Palate Starts sweetly enough, then grips. Lacks complexity and breadth. Finish Firm. Hard. Comment High maintenance. Beneath that sleek exterior beats a hard, one dimensional heart.

Arthur Motley Nose Old, gingery mulling spices and an exotic musky spice. Spiced apple compote, honey and a background sherbety zip. Faint chlorine and vanilla. Palate Lemon, orange sherbet, nutmeg and dry spice. Slightly waxy. Finish Woody, dry/bitter complexity. Comment Clearly old, and pleasant enough but slightly muted.
