- Nose
- Rubbery. Acrylic paint. Opens on more pleasant notes. Thyme infusion. Hint of eucalyptus. A medicinal character. Herbalist's shop.
- Palate
- Smooth. Sweet at start then drying on oak notes and spices. Again the thyme infusion with a bitter touch as if it had been infused too long.
- Finish
- Dry, spicy.
- Comment
- The nose is appealing but the sherry makes the palate a bit dour.
Would certainly warm you up on a frosty morning.

- Nose
- Maple syrup, leather, a little heather honey and dried cooking herbs. There
is a little mintiness to this as well.
- Palate
- Sweet until the oak begins to show through. That herbal quality is here but
also a citrus edge.
- Finish
- Long and a little dry.
- Comment
- Oh for a cold dark night with an open fire, this would be near perfection.
