- Nose
- Freshly polished furniture, wax, preserved lemon, caramelised stone fruits, dusty leaves. With water there's apples in sacks and white peach.
- Palate
- Sweet start then a slow reveal, moving across the tongue. Sandalwood. Highly sophisticated, though with a certain fragility to it despite its fantastic length.
- Finish
- Gentle and soft.
- Comment
- A fantastic mature dram. A revelation.

- Nose
- Definitely an old dram.Cedar, old floor. Antique shop. Beeswax. Old leather armchair. Cooked apples in cinnamon. Then orange curd. A complex interlacing of fruit and wood.
- Palate
- Very smooth and velvety. The same fruit and oak mix. Cedary. Developing
on soft spices.
- Finish
- Lingering. Soothing, keeping fruit all the way.
- Comment
- A beautiful old dram. Could not stay longer in oak though. You can feel
tiredness coming through.
