Nose
Freshly polished furniture, wax, preserved lemon, caramelised stone fruits, dusty leaves. With water there's apples in sacks and white peach.
Palate
Sweet start then a slow reveal, moving across the tongue. Sandalwood. Highly sophisticated, though with a certain fragility to it despite its fantastic length.
Finish
Gentle and soft.
Comment
A fantastic mature dram. A revelation.

Nose
Definitely an old dram.Cedar, old floor. Antique shop. Beeswax. Old leather armchair. Cooked apples in cinnamon. Then orange curd. A complex interlacing of fruit and wood.
Palate
Very smooth and velvety. The same fruit and oak mix. Cedary. Developing on soft spices.
Finish
Lingering. Soothing, keeping fruit all the way.
Comment
A beautiful old dram. Could not stay longer in oak though. You can feel tiredness coming through.
