Nose
Intense and sharp. Slightly spirity. Leafy. Fern. Cherry trifle. White pepper. Palate
Enveloping and warm. Velvety. Cream fudge. A lot of spices. Nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper. Finish
Long-lasting. Warm. Gently vanishing with almonds and nuts. Comment
Quite a muscular Speysider. The perfect dram to buck you up after a woodland walk mushroom-picking on a cold November day.
Dave Broom
Nose
Cereal with some nutty/toffee notes and baked fruits. Water kills it. Palate
Light-to middle-weight, and though it has quite a ‘thick’ feel it lacks any complexity. Immature? Finish
Heathery. Comment
A bit disappointing.
