- Yeasty,almost dough-like to start. Cereal,overlaid with sherry moistened fruit. Plump and scented.
- Palate
- Distant and quite light. Some bletted medlar then sultana. Lifted and sweet. Very soft.
- Finish
- Gentle, fades quickly.
- Comment
- Very shy almost embarassed. Don't be, Tomintoul.Shout it out!

- Malty. Cheery cereal notes alongside with freshly squeezed orange juice. Distant aroma of dried fruit.
- Palate
- Smooth. Sweet and tender. Praline, nougat. Bowl of cereals with honey. Milky chocolate.
- Finish
- Nutty and creamy. Spicy comeback.
- Comment
- On the sweet side. An invitation to enter into the candyshop. A morning dram?
