Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Perfumy. Grassy. Very grainy. Toasty. Warm.
Palate
Light, fruity, sweet.
Finish
A kiss of sherry sweetness.
Comment
Flirtatious, but not a lot to say for itself.

Jim Murray

Nose
Firmer with some immediate pot still fruitiness. Quite grainy and spirity.
Palate
Decent pot still hardness with caramel and spice. Some malt-loaf sweetness, but too much caramel.
Finish
Medium length; the caramel disappointingly lingers but the vanilla and spices ensure complexity.
Comment
Could do better. Superior to the standard Tullamore Dew, with an engaging sweetness which works well with the fruity pot still. Not bad.
