Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Perfumy, grassy. Sesame seeds. Data-like sweetness.
Palate
Light, elegant, sweetish, and raisiny, with some sherry.
Finish
Lightly spicy, gingery.
Comment
Sophisticated and seductive, but I always find it a little lacking in substance.

Jim Murray

Nose
A rigid backbone of pot still is softened by massive and quite startling fruit arrival.
Palate
Remains grain orientated, though quite mouth watering.
Finish
Pretty dry and thin, but just enough sweet oil to keep the oak in check.
Comment
The injection of rich, exotic fruit along with the bigger pot still feel improves it almost beyond measure. The finish is still weak, though.
