Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Leafy. Flowery. Buttercups. Lemony.
Palate
Silky-smooth. Lightly buttery. Light cobnut. Developing a hint of wineyness.
Finish
Decidedly spicy (vanilla pods?).
Comment
A delicate malt, but with some complexity.

Jim Murray

Nose
Light and airy with a simple, untaxing maltiness. A few orange notes add a thin extra dimension.
Palate
Lusciously sweet at first then a chewy toffee depth.
Finish
Light oak and rich malt persist.
Comment
A pleasant malt but missing the old trade mark creaminess.
