Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Nose
Malty, chestnut flour, muesli. A leafy note. A lovely bouquet of late summer outdoor fragrances. Touch of crème caramel.
Palate
Beautifully rounded and silky. The cereal notes mingle with marzipan and vanilla. Rewarding and refreshing.
Finish
Dry, leafy. Quite short.
Comment
A lovely dram. Fresh, natural, cheery. The perfect companion for a cheese party. Preferably undiluted.

Ian Wisniewski

Nose
Linseed, Brazil nut and extra-virgin olive oil overture, spicy oak emerges with a hint of crème caramel peeping through.
Palate
Laid back and opens slowly to deliver nutty, spicy, dried fruit, chocolate and crème caramel nuances, quite tightly knit, before an oakey garnish joins in.
Finish
Creamy, fruity maltiness.
Comment
Team work results in glimpses of different flavours rather than individual close ups.
