Nose
Weird. Like a garage, oily rags, but some sweetness behind.
Palate
It's that sweetness which dominates the palate and gives an unctuous feel to the palate.
Finish
Green.
Comment
The feel is good but it needs time to develop all the flavours. Four years old is just too early.

Nose
Weird. Turpentine. A distant floral note. After this first offnote, some biscuity and spicy aromas. Slightly grainy.
Palate
Crisp and spicy. Pears cooked in ginger. Getting astringent at midpalate.
Finish
Astringent, a bit burning.
Comment
A strange dram. Lacks balance and maturity. The astringency is wiped out by a dash of water.
