- Nose
- Hunter Valley Semillon. Green, grassy slightly stony. Then there's pineapple, tinned pear and becomes increasingly sweet.
- Palate
- The pears are to the fore for me. Marzipan/amaretto.
- Finish
- Very gentle.
- Comment
- A decent drink, but the port finish is the winner out of the trio.

- Nose
- Malty.
- Palate
- Basically sweet with acacia honey, custard crèmes and a little candied nuts. Syrupy exotic fruit and caramel too, like fairground toffee apples. A macaroon biscuit.
- Finish
- Caramel.
- Comment
- Balanced and pleasant.
