77- Nose
- Looks like a rose wine, smells like a rose wine. Straw and strawberry. Sweet shop/dolly mixtures. Herbaceous.
- Palate
- Seems slightly confected but this is knocked aside as malt comes through. Soft fruits. Has balance.
- Finish
- Jammy.
- Comment
- This just balances the whiskey and the finish.

80- Nose
- Strawberry jam, pineapple and apples. Forest floor (earthy and leafy).
- Palate
- Victoria sponge. Very sweet and confected, but not in a nauseating way and underpinned with a little malty, cereal character.
- Finish
- More sweetness.
- Comment
- Another success. It walked that fine line between jammy and cloying, just about staying on the right side.
