Nose
Looks like a rose wine, smells like a rose wine. Straw and strawberry. Sweet shop/dolly mixtures. Herbaceous. Palate
Seems slightly confected but this is knocked aside as malt comes through. Soft fruits. Has balance. Finish
Jammy. Comment
This just balances the whisky and the finish.
Arthur Motley
Nose
Strawberry jam, pineapple and apples. Forest floor (earthy and leafy). Palate
Victoria sponge. Very sweet and confected, but not in a nauseating way and underpinned with a little malty, cereal character. Finish
More sweetness. Comment
Another success. It walked that fine line between jammy and cloying, just about staying on the right side.
