Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Rich. Polished oak. A little underlying charred-oak character. Palate Raisins. Madeira cake. Vanilla. Finish Hard toffee. Drying into slight charcoal Comment Even more age to handle, but it has wistful, nostalgic charm.

Jim Murray Nose A macho oaky, orangey nose hardly for the faint-hearted. Honey and tannin combine effectively but over leathery and aged. Palate An enormous eruption of oak takes an uncompromising grip. Finish Bitter and dry though a thread of burnt honey comb and chocolate. Comment Actually a massive improvement on the legendary 20 Years Old.
