- Powerful, pungent malt with everything an Islay enthusiast would wish for.

- Pungent, intense, almost balsamic. Soot/wood embers, canvas, a hint of Arbroath smokie and grassy like a peat bank. Hairy chested.
- Palate
- Rounded with good weight and depth. Seaweedy and lightly medicinal, hint of cattlecake. The firm centre is tempered by cooked orchard fruit.
- Finish
- Sweet and slightly nutty. Smoke. Oatcake.
- Comment
- A punchy, deep malt. Good balance.
