Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Very light. Decidedly sweet, honeyish, spiciness.
Palate
Smooth. Quite rich. Malty. Brown sugar. Spicy. Cinnamon. American-style apple pie.
Finish
Lightly gingery. Crisp.
Comment
Less characterful than the Virginia Gentleman I remember, but still quite distinctive.

Dave Broom

Nose
At the higher, scented end of the spectrum: lemon balm, sweet candy, caramelised fruit, fig, dry spices, vanilla.
Palate
Spicy. Nutmeg, apple sponge, red berry fruits, light syrup.
Finish
Soft, then a space dust barrage of spices
Comment
Subtle and well-made.
