- Nose
- Smoky and marine: oyster liquor and smoke from a tarry BBQ with rosemary thrown onto the embers. Clean, dry and quite punchy, but at the same time controlled. Carbolic and iodine emerges with water.
- Palate
- Dry (oatcake and peat dust) then loosens into the briny seafood note of seaweed. Very clean and bright.
- Finish
- Light and oily.
- Comment
- Balanced yet assertive.

- Nose
- Peaty. Creosote, smoke, soot. Peatreek infused. On time, a citrus note. But not much more. It is very pale in colour. Lemon drop. A touch of water melon.
- Palate
- A smoke and soot invasion. Charcoal. Barbecued sardines.
- Finish
- Dry, smoky. Slightly numbing.
- Comment
- Could be the perfect wake up for campers drenched to the skin on a Summer's day on the west coast of Scotland!
